Originally from Tempe, Arizona, Matt Wagner is now a gospel doctrine teacher in the Songpa Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Seoul, Korea. He has had a wide variety of callings in the church but enjoys sharing his love of the scriptures more than anything.
Matt has been fortunate to have been tutored by two of the best Institute teachers in history: James Wright and Dave Bohn of the San Jose State University Institute of Religion. Matt enjoys trying to reach their stature as a teacher, though he knows he may never be able to do it.
Matt's goal in gospel teaching is to stay out of the way so that the Holy Ghost can do His work uninterrupted. Staying out of the way is a challenge, but it's a good challenge.
